This collection of collages reflects on memories and combines design artifacts as examples of visual culture—from movie posters to package designs—that I collected on my travels around South Korea from 2013 to 2019. I crafted the collages by hand during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021. In 2022, I participated in the AIGA Design + Writing Fellowship and worked on this project more. The visual essay was published in Dialogue.
